A multi-nation company,with long history in producing sneakers and safety shoes.
Job Description:
• Set the time line for developping the products with styling and sales depts.
• Co-ordinate new projects with technical sheets, bill of materials, product specifications and transfer them to China factories in order to obtain prototypes, samples and final versions according to the stylist vision, design and sales product requirements.
• Responsible for creating technical “call-out” drawings.
• Create and manange technical sheets.
• Create bill of materials and co-ordinate production timing and methods.
• Define production methods for all products and their components.
• Cost evaluation.
• Co-ordinate and supervise the development of the shoes in its total: from uppers to soles.
• Co-ordinate production and development of prototypes at various production factories.
• Co-ordinate production and testing of prototypes and samples.
• Get samples aproval from the sale dept. and stylists.
• Coordinate and supervise the industrilazation of the products.
• Improve prototypes and current productions in order to increase the shoe comfort and ergonomy.
• Follow the certification process of all products.
Qualification:
• High knowledge of shoe product development.
• Knowledge of prototypes and samples development .
• China and foreign supplier management skills.
• Ability to co-ordinate style and sales dept with product development and production.
• Knowledge of design and prototype development software.
• 4-5 years of field experience, with at least 2 years in the same position.
• Direct experience in shoes product development with foreign factories (China a plus).
